Acta for AI assistants · MCP connector

Use your meeting notes in
ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.

Acta's MCP connector lets ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and other AI assistants search your Acta meetings. Ask what was decided, who owes what, or what a meeting covered, and get answers that link back to the meeting in Acta.

Works with any assistant that supports remote MCP connectors.

What can an AI assistant do with Acta?

It reads your meetings. Making changes is up to you.

Search your meetings

Find what was said, decided or agreed, with the meeting, date and moment.

Read a meeting

Summary, participants and the full transcript, a page at a time.

See action items

Who owes what, due dates and what is overdue, across your meetings.

See the Decision log

Decisions, who made them, owners, and what changed since.

Optional: let it make changes

Each is off unless you allow it. Changes show in Acta with who made them, like “Marked done by Claude”, and can be undone.

  • Mark action items done
  • Comment on action items
  • Set a decision's status

Is it safe to connect my meetings?

Only meetings you can see

An assistant sees exactly the meetings your Acta account can see, nothing more.

You sign in and choose Allow

No passwords or keys to paste. You can see and disconnect every assistant in Settings.

Changes are opt-in and undoable

Off unless you allow each one. Every change shows in Acta with who made it, and Undo.

Meeting text is data, not instructions

Results tell the assistant not to follow requests spoken inside a meeting.

Disconnect any time

Disconnecting in Settings stops the assistant at once.

Nothing deleted or shared

Assistants can't delete anything or share your meetings with anyone.

Can I use my Acta meeting notes in ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes. Add Acta's MCP connector to ChatGPT, Claude or another AI assistant that supports remote MCP connectors, sign in to Acta and choose Allow. The assistant can then search your meetings and answer with links back to them in Acta.

Which AI assistants work with Acta?

Any AI assistant that can add a remote MCP connector with OAuth sign-in. That includes Claude, ChatGPT (developer mode), Gemini CLI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot in VS Code, Cursor, Mistral Le Chat and Perplexity. Custom connectors depend on your assistant's plan, and some need an admin to add them.

What is the Acta MCP connector?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI assistants use to connect to apps. Acta's MCP connector is a web address you add to your assistant, so it can search your meeting notes, transcripts, action items and decisions when you ask.

Can I ask ChatGPT about my Zoom, Google Meet or Teams meetings?

Yes, for meetings Acta recorded. Acta records Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams meetings; once you connect Acta to ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant, you can ask about any of them.

Do I need Acta Pro?

It works like the rest of Acta Pro: free for the first 15 days, then with Pro. You can connect an assistant at any time.

Can the assistant change anything in Acta?

Only if you allow it. Marking action items done, commenting on action items and setting a decision's status are each off unless you tick them when connecting or switch them on in Settings. Every change shows in Acta with who made it, and can be undone.

Can it see other people's meetings?

No. It sees the same meetings you can see in Acta, and your OneChat files and links are not included.

Where does my meeting data go?

When you ask a question, Acta sends the matching meeting content to your assistant so it can answer, and that assistant's provider handles it under its own terms. Acta keeps a count of lookups and changes, not what was asked.

How do I disconnect an assistant?

Open Settings → AI assistants in Acta and choose Disconnect. It stops working right away.

Your meetings, in your AI assistant.
